Bharat Digital Limited ("Bharat Digital", "we", "us") is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15888582), with its registered office at Unit 1-I, 736-740 Romford Road, Manor Park, London, E12 6BT. We are committed to protecting your personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. This policy explains what personal data we collect through bharatdigital.co.uk, why, and what rights you have.
For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at info@bharatdigital.co.uk or +44 7778 103271.
Enquiry and quote requests. When you submit the contact or "Get a Free Quote" form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your message, so we can respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Careers applications. If you apply for a role via our Careers page, we collect your name, contact details, CV, portfolio, and any other information you choose to submit, in order to assess your application. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to a potential employment contract.
Analytics cookies. With your consent (via the cookie banner shown on your first visit), we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site — pages viewed, approximate location, and device/browser type — with IP addresses anonymised. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing your cookies or contacting us. No analytics cookies are set unless you accept them.
Essential cookies. We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (for example, to remember your cookie preference) that do not require consent under UK PECR rules, as they are essential to the site functioning.
Prospective client outreach. Separately from this website, where we identify a business as a potential client through publicly available professional information, we may contact a relevant person at that business by email to introduce our services. Legal basis: legitimate interest in reasonable, proportionate B2B marketing. You can ask us to stop at any time by emailing info@bharatdigital.co.uk or using the unsubscribe option in the email.
We use a small number of trusted service providers to run our business, each acting under their own data protection obligations: Zoho (email, CRM, and business tools; data hosted in the EU), Vercel (website hosting), and Google Analytics (site analytics, only after consent). Some of these providers may process data outside the UK/EEA; where they do, they rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or equivalent safeguards. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
Enquiry and contact data is kept for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable follow-up period, and no longer than 24 months of inactivity unless a business relationship continues. Client and financial records are retained for at least 6 years in line with HMRC record-keeping requirements. Unsuccessful job applications are kept for up to 12 months.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal data we hold about you, to object to certain processing, and to request that we transfer your data elsewhere. To exercise any of these rights, email info@bharatdigital.co.uk. If you are unhappy with how we've handled your data, you have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our services or the law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
